South Australia has been selected by the Board of National Mediation Conferences LTD to hold the 10th National Mediation Conference in Adelaide in 2010 and we are inviting you to attend.
We believe Adelaide is the ideal place to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the National Conference where we can reflect on developments in the past and look forward to an exciting future in mediation in Australia with our working theme being New Frontiers: Celebrating The Past. Embracing The Present. Creating The Future.
The proposed Conference Program will encompass theoretical, historical and practical elements of mediation practice, with a broad range of streams including, but not limited to, Family Dispute Resolution, Commercial and Legal, Aged and Special Needs, Sport and Recreation, Industrial and Workplace, Cultural Diversity, Environment, Indigenous and Community mediation and Accreditation and Training.
South Australia has a long history of initiating and running successful mediation conferences at the local, national and international level, including the first National Mediation Conference in 1992, the Second International Mediation Conference in 1996 and the inaugural Asia Pacific Mediation Forum in 2001. These are all great reasons to plan now to attend in 2010.
